Operating rules of the Czech-English children's group Shining smile Dobřejovice

Article I. - Introductory provisions

These operating rules govern the operation and conditions of use of the children's group at U Kapličky 44, in Dobřejovice, 251 01. The operations of the Czech-English children's group Shining smile, z.s., with its registered office at Milánská 615, Prague 109 00, ID no. 21535205. Commencement date: Januar 2025.

Article II. – Operation of a children's group

The basic purpose of running a children's group is regular care of the children in the children's group and work with the familes. The conditions for placement of children are set out in the agreement on mutual cooperation in the provision of child care services.

The children's group is operated as a facility for regular attendance of children from the age of 1 to the beginning of school attendance. Attendance is specified in the contract concluded between the operator and the child's legal representative. It is possible to register children for occasional babysitting in the children's group, subject to free capacity.

The children's group is open for children every weekday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The day is divided into morning mode 7:30 - 12:15, afternoon mode 12:15 - 17:00 and all-day mode 7:30 - 17:00. The schedule is specified in the education and care plan document.

Accidents and other damages incurred during the child's stay in the children's group and during events organized by the children's group are covered by the operator's liability insurance, which the operator has an insurance contract with Česká Pojišťovna.

The personnel of the children's group consists of a leading caregiver, a pedagogical worker and a native speaker. In some of these fields: teacher in kindergarten or at the first level of primary school, nurse or medical assistant, social worker, professional babysitter, or educator with other professional qualifications according to Act 18/2004. The head teacher of the children's group is responsible for all matters related to the operation of the children's group, for the records associated with the admission of children to the children's group and for operational matters, including compliance with the operating rules of the children's group and other regulations. The total number of caregivers is determined according to the children's attendance, 3-4 caregivers and help to prepare food, etc.

Article III. – price of a child's stay in a children's group

Childcare in the Shining smile children's group is subject to a fee. The fee is intended for partial reimbursement of costs and for the operation of the Shining smile children's group. The amount of the price for the services is determined by the price list, which is listed on the website. www.shiningsmile.cz. Payment is always made retrospectively for the previous month in cash or by bank transfer with a credit to the account no later than the 7th day of the new month. Payment for meals is made in cash retroactively for the previous month by the 7th day of the month. Price of morning snack 25 CZK, lunch 70 CZK and afternoon snack 25 CZK.

Article IV. – Admission of a child to the Czech-English children's group Shining smile

  1. The child is admitted to the children's group based on the decision of the manager.
  2. Before accepting a child into a children's group, the parent or the legal representative of a child who is over 18 years of age, obliged to fill in the child's registration form and hand it over, together with the required attachments, to the head of the child's group. These are: confirmation of employment/registration at Employment Office or confirmation of freelance work, confirmation of child vaccination according to valid regulations of the Czech Republic, GDPR document. In addition, the parent is obliged to sign a contract for the regular provision of children's group services, familiarize himself with the rules of operation of the children's group, the plan for raising and caring for children, and confirm in writing (by signing the contract) his agreement with its wording. In the child's registration form, the parent is obliged to provide information about the child and the telephone contact of two legal representatives (or a person authorized by the legal representative), who will be available 24/7 at the indicated telephone numbers during the child's stay in the children's group. All data will be protected in accordance with the provisions of Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on the protection of personal data and on the amendment of certain laws, as amended, and will be used exclusively for the needs of the children's group. At the next visit, the parent is obliged to add new information to the child's registration sheet that could have any effect on the child's stay in the children's group.
  3. Admission of a child to a children's group is refused: if the child's parent or the child does not meet the admission criteria, or if the child's group is full, if the child's parent provides false or incomplete information.
  4. The termination of the contract for the provision of child care services in the children's group will occur upon expiry of the period for which the contract was concluded, or by agreement.
  5. Withdrawal from the contract: the operator may withdraw from the contract if the child's parent seriously or repeatedly violates the operating rules of the children's group.
  6. The operator may withdraw from the contract if the child's specific needs exceed the operator's capabilities (e.g. a chronically ill child or a child requiring services beyond the capabilities of the children's group).
  7. When handing over a child to a children's group, the parent is obliged to hand over the child's personal items to the caregiver, especially spare clothes and slippers, diapers and wet sanitary napkins for smaller children; all labeled with a name. In the event of not handing over these items in sufficient quantity, the caregiver is entitled to refuse to accept the child or agree to shorten the stay compared to the time booked by the parent. In addition, the parent is obliged to inform the caregiver of any special requirements regarding the care of the child.
  8. It is strictly forbidden to bring animals, things, objects or substances that could endanger the life or health of children into the children's group, especially irritating chemicals, pyrotechnics, weapons, matches, lighters, sharp objects - needles, pins, etc. but also inappropriate toys. A parent can only bring toys into the children's group that meet all relevant standards, especially ČSN EN technical and safety standards. The operator is not responsible for brought toys. Furthermore, children may not have candies, chewing gum, or other treats and valuable items with them.

Article V. - Child's stay in a children's group

  1. The minimum duration of a child's stay in a children's group is 5 hours in the morning mode, or 5 hours in the afternoon mode. The maximum daily duration of a child's stay in the children's group is 9.5 hours, within the all-day regime.
  2. The children's group has an educational character and its basic purpose is a babysitting service. Children will be involved in activities that are aimed at their overall development in all developmental areas, through various educational programs based on a pre-prepared framework plan, according to the possibilities of the children's group.
  3. When caring for a child, hygienic rules are observed and care is provided in accordance with the special requirements regarding child care, which the parent stated in the child's registration form. For children who are learning to walk without diapers, the parents will agree with the caregiver to put them on the potty often, but within the framework of a safe stay in the children's group and for hygienic reasons, the parent will leave the diapers on the child.
  4. Meals are provided by a provider from an external supplier specialized in the preparation of meals for preschool children. The meal includes a morning snack, lunch (soup, main course) and an afternoon snack. Snacks always include raw fruits and vegetables. Water and fruit tea are available to all children during their stay in the children's group. Parents will provide properly signed drinking bottles for children under 3 years of age.
    In justified cases, especially if necessary in view of the child's health limitations, the legal representative will ensure the child's diet. This type of catering is only possible by prior arrangement.
  5. In the event of a child's sudden medical indisposition (e.g. nausea, respiratory problems) or in the event of an accident, the child will be provided with appropriate care and assistance. The carer will immediately contact the child's parents, who are obliged to attend the children's group, as soon as possible.
  6. Only a healthy child can be admitted to the children's group. Parents may not place children in the children's group who have been excluded from staying in the group by their attending physician, have a cold or are ill with an infectious disease. The staff of the children's group has the right to request from the child's parent a medical certificate about the end of the child's illness and the doctor's consent to his return to the group of children (infectious disease - doctor, common disease - sworn statement). In case of doubt about the child's health, the operator reserves the right not to accept the child in the children's group, or to contact the parents so that they can pick up the child as soon as possible.
  7. When staying in a children's group, parents observe the operating rules of the children's group. The child's parents also observe the rules of decency and mutual respect when interacting with the staff of the children's group, with other children attending the children's group and with other parents.
  8. To ensure the safety of children during their stay inside the children's group and outside the premises of the children's group, the staff is trained in health and safety.
  9. A private terrace with a garden, a children's playground near the children's group, walks to the Botič stream with a beautiful landscape and other outdoor spaces suitable for children to stay outside are used for children's stay outside. The reason for not staying outside can be especially strong wind, rain, fog, unreasonably low or high temperature.
  10. The parent excuses the child via the Twigsee application no later than 7:00 in the morning, where they preliminarily determine the time the child will be absent. If the parents do not excuse the child by 7:00 a.m. on the given day, the meal for the given day and 50% of the school fees will be charged.

Article VI. – Handover of the child

  1. The child will be handed over only by the parents, or to a person older than 18 years authorized by the parents and listed in the child's registration form. This person proves his/her identity with an ID card.
  2. When picking up children from the morning schedule, it is necessary for parents to arrive on time, between 12:10-12:20 p.m., in order not to disrupt the operation of the children's group. In the case of the afternoon or all-day regime, parents pick up their children as early as 3:45 p.m., after the end of the afternoon activities, but no later than 5:00 p.m., when the children's group will be closed.

Article VII. – Other provisions

  1. Cleaning products and aids and used bedding are placed out of the reach of children in rooms that are locked. Bed linen is changed as needed, max. once every 3 weeks, more as needed. Bed linen is washed in an automatic washing machine at a temperature of min. 60 degrees using a special baby detergent and laundry disinfectant. Washed bed linen is dried in a dryer at high temperature.
  2. Cleaning the premises of the Shining smile children's group:

    • 1x daily a) wiping floors, furniture, heating elements, window sills, door handles, flush handles for dampness b) taking out garbage, cleaning carpets with a vacuum cleaner, washing sinks, toilet bowls, toilet seats using cleaning agents with a disinfecting effect c) ventilation
    • 1x weekly washing of the washable parts of the walls in the toilets and disinfection of washrooms and toilets.
    • 1 x monthly washing of toys and tools, washing of doors
    • 1x every 3 months, defrosting and washing the refrigerator, washing windows including frames, washing light fixtures
    • Twice a year general cleaning of the premises of childcare facilities
    • 1x in 3 years, painting of the premises.

Article VIII. - Final Provisions

  1. These operating regulations do not affect the rights and obligations arising from generally binding legal regulations.
  2. The operator is entitled to unilaterally supplement or modify these operating regulations of the children's group. The operator is obliged to notify the child's legal representative of any change well in advance.
  3. The current wording of these operating regulations is published on the website www.shiningsmile.cz and in the premises of the children's group.
  4. These Operating Rules are valid and effective from January 2025.
